Public health and epidemiology: assessing the burden of vaccine-preventable diseases, responding to epidemics, strengthening health systems, conducting research on health policy, designing and implementing population-based surveys...
Health Systems Research: focus on improving access to health care, quality of care and equity in health.

Through its expert group, BIGH provides essential training and technical assistance, including:

• ICH-GCP Training
• Introduction to Clinical Research
• Statistical analysis of research data: Use common software tools such as R, SPSS and STATA.
• Development of Standard Operating Procedures and Research Protocols.
Technical Support:
• Conduct PCB-compliant clinical trials
• Development and maintenance of data management systems.

Advocacy and Implementation

To bridge the gap between research results and their actual impact on health, BIGH aims to promote and implement evidence-based health interventions. This approach improves the accessibility of effective interventions to populations that need them most. The main aspects and strategies of BIGH are:
